Hedi takes Saint Laurent on Bohemian Spring/Summer 2013

When two of Paris's  biggest fashion houses named two of the hottest and coolest designers around, as their creative directors it seemed fashion was going to a new direction. This year's Spring/Summer Paris Fashion Week has been the clash of Dior and Yves Saint Laurent that has been renamed as Saint Laurent. Hedi Slimane properly had more  pressure on his shoulders than Dior's Raf Simons, because of the name change and the fact he is based in LA and not Paris where the DNA of Yves Saint Laurent now Saint Laurent. The expectation on Hedi have been quite high. Would he re designs Le Smoke, what would his first collection be like.
The man is genius given a credit.
Well as Hedi unveiled his first Spring/Summer collection titled Collection 1, it seemed there would no great shocks or Le Smoke 2.0 instead it was collection that was bohemian, gypsy, Saharienne and of course a lot of skinny's. It was collection with lot great pieces but this is just the beginning of what could end up beautiful love story  where perhaps Hedi could end the next Karl for Saint Laurent.
